Get to know me

I have  been a lawyer for almost 30 years - in private practice, public interest and representing the City of Philadelphia. My expertise extends to family law, real estate law – residential housing and landlord and tenant - and personal estate planning law. Currently I represent seniors 60 +.  I have directed legal services for veterans who were victims of crime. Additionally, I have advised seniors through a legal HelpLine available in all 67 counties in Pennsylvania. I was also one of the first attorneys to provide free legal representation to tenants facing eviction as the Lawyer of the Day through the Philadelphia Eviction Prevention Program.

In addition to my work responsibilities, I am active in the Philadelphia Bar Association.  I have participated on the Civil Gideon Task Force, the Municipal Court Committee and co-chair the Family Law Section Diversity Committee.

I am a long-time church trustee and president of the African Heritage Ministry. In March 2018, I went on a mission to Haiti to deliver supplies and medical assistance to over 300 patients. I remain active in community service as well as advocacy organizations. I am  a strong advocate for access to education for all.

I am committed to access to justice. Whether in my personal or professional life, I am dedicated to making a positive difference in peoples’ lives. I will continue to do so as a judge. If elected, my goal is to exercise wisdom to do the right thing in the matters before me.  I

respectfully ask for your support.

I look forward to serving all as a judge in the Court of Common Pleas.
